Thank you
Guy.
You will be
pleased to know it had an unbelievable impact. At the opening ceremony with the
parade of flags, there was loud applause when the Haiti flag was presented and
the applause lasted so long they had to suspendthe presentation. Many were in
tears, you would have been so proud to be here

HAITI AWARENESS AT THE INTERNATIONAL ASSEMBLY
Dear All,
This afternoon, the DGE's from Zones 33 and 34
assembled
hundreds
ribbons to be worn as a reminder of the plight of the people of Haiti. The red
and blue ribbons represent the colours of Haiti and they are fastened with the
official pin of District 7020. We hope this will raise more awareness and
encourage District to donate funds to help. We also have handouts containing
information on how to support the effort.
I thought you would like to see an example of the ribbons being worn and
distributed.
With best wishes to you all,
Diana
